Boost for school libraries
Schools are being helped to increase their reading stock in a bid to get
more children reading non-fiction following a survey which showed many
shy away from these types of books.
Nestlé Box Tops for Books aims to provide schools with new educational
books, with a little help from the local community. For the last five
years, Nestlé Cereals have been helping schools to raise cash by
collecting Box Tops for Education tokens.
While still offering schools the option of redeeming tokens for cash,
this year Nestlé Cereals have teamed up with high quality educational
publishers DK to provide schools with the chance to collect as many new
educational books as they can from the eminent school book publisher.
Some schools are already collecting tokens available on special packs
of Nestlé breakfast cereals ¬ including Shreddies and Cheerios.
They would be grateful to receive any tokens collected by the local
community and sent to them.
To find out if your local school is collecting Box Tops tokens, or
